If you're thinking of moving your Smashpot to a different fork, follow this checklist to ensure you have the correct fitting parts for your fork:
1. Is the Smashpot compatible with the new fork?

2. Is the new fork a different brand to what the Smashpot was in previously?

You will require a brand-specific Footstud. | No Footstud needed. |
Example:
If it's moving from a Fox 36 to Fox 38, no Footstud is needed.
If it's moving from a Fox 36 to a Rockshox Zeb, a new Footstud is needed.
3. Is the new fork a different model to what the Smashpot was in previously?

You may need a new Topcap. | No Topcap required. |
4. Do you wish to change the travel?
| Yes | No |
Do you have the original parts? Yes - You will require "Cartridge Tube Heat Shrink" No - You may require "Travel Adjust Kit" + "Cartridge Tube Heat Shrink" | No further parts needed. |
Example:
If you are the original owner and would like to go from 160mm to 170mm, you will need to re-apply the "Cartridge Tube Heat Shrink".
If you are purchasing a used unit, and don't have the original spare parts, you may require additional parts from the "Travel Adjust Kit" + "Cartridge Tube Heat Shrink" to change travel.
5. Do you wish to change the spring rate?
